Blake Burns

Blake Burns has a solid work experience in the oil and gas industry. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at National Oilwell Varco, starting as a participant in the Next Generation Program and advancing to become an On-Site Solutions Director and Rig Solutions - Account Manager. In 2014, they joined Diamond Offshore as an Operations Development Trainee and later took on roles as an Operations Engineer, Drilling Superintendent for two different vessels, Operations Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Contracts & Marketing for the Western Hemisphere. Blake is also a Board Member at IADC Houston Chapter, starting in 2023.

Blake Burns attended Texas A&M University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Agriculture Leadership and Development. Blake also completed the NOV Purdue University Sales Management Program at Purdue University. Blake completed their high school education at the International School of Aberdeen. In addition to their educational achievements, they obtained a USCG OIM License from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2018.
