Andrew Williamson

Junior Field Geophysicist at DIAS

Andrew Williamson is currently a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where Andrew works on using magnetotellurics to image the subsurface around Cambridge Bay and Resolute, Nunavut. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Junior Field Geophysicist at Dias Geophysical and Dias Airborne, performing geophysical surveys across North America. With a background in geophysics and seismology, Andrew has also assisted with geothermal surveys in British Columbia and kimberlite studies in Central Saskatchewan. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in Geophysics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
