Juan Garzon has extensive work experience in the field of marketing. Juan currently holds the position of Senior Director Global Marketing at Lonza since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Corporate Marketing at DiaSorin since March 2021.

Before joining DiaSorin, Juan worked at BD for several years, holding various roles. Juan served as the Global Marketing Manager for Clinical Solutions, ID-AST, and HPV from May 2018 to January 2021. During this time, they developed and implemented innovative marketing strategies, fostered collaborative relationships with regional marketing teams and business/sales leadership, and deployed effective go-to-market strategies.

Juan also held the position of Regional Senior European Product Manager for ID-AST from November 2016 to April 2018, where they exceeded targeted financial requirements through strategic planning and reported directly to the European Marketing Director. Prior to this, they worked as the Product Manager for ID-AST & Clinical Micro from December 2015 to November 2016, where they led product and data management initiatives and streamlined existing business and marketing processes.

Before joining DiaSorin and BD, Juan worked as a Regional Application Specialist for Industrial Micro at an undisclosed company from October 2011 to November 2015. Juan supported customers and distributors, established future marketing potential and business development, and managed the Spanish budget for industrial microbiology portfolio.

Juan's early work experience includes serving as an Applications Specialist for Spain at an undisclosed company from April 2009 to September 2011, where they provided scientific support to clinical customers, leveraged market research for disruptive marketing strategies, and attended conferences and workshops. Juan also completed an internship as a Microbiology Laboratory Practitioner at Hospital Gregorio Marañón from September 2008 to April 2009.

Juan Garzon attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they obtained a degree in Licenciatura en Farmacia, specializing in Nutrición y Dietética. Additionally, they have pursued various certifications including Certified Marketing Master Trainer from BD, Competitive Examination for Clinical Pharmacists from FIR, Global Marketing & Sales from BD, Product Management in B2B Markets from Management Centre Europe (MCE), and a Teaching Certificate from CAP.
