Ron’s professional career includes over 30 years of retained executive search and consulting experience, successfully conducting engagements for a broad array of clients ranging from non-profits and academics to financial services and electric utilities. His underlying focus has and continues to be on providing high-quality, professional executive search and consulting support to clients. He has worked as an associate in a privately owned search firm, in a large corporate environment, and in a search and consulting firm he founded.

Recognizing that people are at the center of any organization’s ability to achieve their goals, Ron’s approach is to focus on the uniqueness of his client and the best, available candidates to be considered. As such, he blends knowledge and familiarity of the search process and methodology with the art of matching a client’s needs and culture with the candidate’s skills, approach, and motivation.

Raised in a Christian home where his father was a pastor and minister, Ron has always embraced the need to be active and serve in his local church. As such, he has served in many leadership and servant roles as needs arose. In addition, he served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Christian school where his children attended.

Ron joined the DickersonBakker Executive Search team to fulfill a sense of ministry calling whereby he provides his skills as a professional to organizations in the faith-based community. Throughout his career, he has been successful in providing the highest level of support to his clients. His desire at this point in his career is to use his abilities and skills to enhance the effectiveness and significance of Christian ministries with whom he has the pleasure to work.

A native of the Carolinas, Ron received his BA degree in Economics from Campbell University and his MBA from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and has two adult children.
