Jamie Brandon

Jamie Brandon has a diverse work experience, with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing. They worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Dictionary.com, where they partnered with lexicography to implement sensitive language recommendations and automated data retrieval processes. They also launched a new model architecture, boosting performance.

Prior to that, Jamie worked at Springer Nature Technology and Publishing Solutions as a Founding Editorial Board Member for the AI & Ethics Journal.

They also have experience as an NLP Data Scientist at Workhuman, a Data Scientist & Ethics in AI Lead at CallMiner, and a Data Scientist at CallMiner. At CallMiner, Jamie performed ML experiments, implemented statistical correlation programs, and delivered internal webinars.

Earlier in their career, Jamie worked as a Color Guard Instructor at Laingsburg High School, teaching flagwork and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Jamie Brandon completed a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics at Brandeis University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Jamie attended Adrian College from 2013 to 2017, where they studied Mathematics and Physics but did not obtain a degree. Jamie's educational journey started at Laingsburg High School from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a High School Diploma.
