Prof. Dr. Julia Knopf is a prominent educator and researcher in the fields of German didactics and digital education. As a co-founder of Didactic Innovations GmbH, Julia Knopf focuses on designing modern training and educational scenarios that integrate innovative teaching methods with technology. Currently serving as the Managing Professor of the German Studies Department at Saarland University, Julia Knopf leads a team dedicated to German didactics at the primary level. Additionally, Julia Knopf is the Managing Director of the Forschungsinstitut Bildung Digital, where the emphasis is on translating new research findings into practical applications for digital education. Other roles include co-direction at the ISM – Institut für Sprachen und Mehrsprachigkeit and founding partner at KLEE - Dr. Knopf & Dr. Ladel Partnerschaft, alongside prior positions at various universities and institutes. Julia Knopf holds multiple degrees from the University of Bayreuth, culminating in a doctorate in the Didactics of German Language and Literature.
