Cedric Wagner currently serves as the Project Manager for Smart Manufacturing at Diehl Controls, focusing on machine learning development, including end-to-end implementation of business cases based on sensor data and support for the development of convolutional neural networks for quality assurance. Cedric plays a key role in machine learning enablement within the Diehl group, organizing corporate exchanges and providing quarterly overviews of ML/AI activities to executives. Additionally, Cedric has led data analytics initiatives, developing alerts and dashboards for production managers and integrating ERP/SAP data with shopfloor data through Power BI. Past experiences include an international internship involving interdisciplinary project coordination and a master thesis at Bosch centered on machine learning models for predicting the fatigue life of components. Cedric holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a scholarship from the DAAD for studies in China.
