Dave Carson

Dave Carson has over 16 years of experience in the financial technology industry. Dave began their career in 2004 as a Software Developer for Microgen, where they worked on C++ development of a derivatives pricing engine. In 2005, they moved to Wombat Financial Software as a Senior Presales Engineer. In 2008, they joined NYSE Euronext (NYSE Technologies) as a Senior Presales Engineer. In 2009, they were an Assistant VP at Barclays Capital. From 2011 to 2013, they were a VP, Program Trading at J.P. Morgan. From 2013 to 2015, they were the EMEA Head of Market Access at Citi. Dave then moved to Vela Trading Technologies as Head of Sales Engineering from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Redline Trading Solutions as Director, Field Engineering. Dave is currently at DiffusionData as Head of Field Engineering, DPO & ISG Member, and Field Architecture & Services.

Dave Carson received a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science from Ulster University between 1999 and 2003. Dave then went on to attain a Master of Science in Applied Cybersecurity from Queen's University Belfast between 2017 and 2019.
