Phil is an accomplished product architect who has led the design and implementation of Push Technology’s market-leading Diffusion platform. He shepherds the company’s highly-talented team of engineers and guides continuous innovation to deliver massively scalable, real-time, high-performance, data streaming and messaging solutions to companies across markets, worldwide. Previously, Phil held positions with BEA and Oracle technical consulting, specializing in middleware products including WebLogic Server and the Coherence in-memory data grid. He has over 20 years of experience working at the forefront of technology to solve companies’ high-volume, high-speed, data distribution and management challenges. In addition, Phil co-authored J2EE Performance Testing (Expert Press 2002, Apress 2003) and Professional Oracle WebLogic Server (Wrox 2009); as well as authoring columns for the WebLogic Developers Journal and BEA dev2dev (now part of the Oracle Technology Network). Phil holds a BS in Electronic & Computer Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a BA in Pure Mathematics from Open University.
