Gopinath Kupusamy has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in project and program management roles. Gopinath started their career as a Project Engineer at Maxis Communications Bhd in 2007, where they managed and implemented proof-of-concept projects and designed guidelines for network projects. Gopinath then joined Intracom Telecom in 2008 as a Project Manager/Operations Manager, where they set up project offices, managed day-to-day operations, and delivered complex network-based projects. In 2010, Gopinath joined Digi Telecommunications as a Principal Program & Project Manager, assuming a leadership role and championing various business-critical projects. In this role, they proposed and managed new initiatives, guided teams through development, ensured timely project execution, and devised solutions based on client needs and expectations.
Gopinath Kupusamy completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strathclyde Business School in the years 2019-2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electronics, with a specialization in Microwave and Communications, from Multimedia University between the years 2001 and 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, Gopinath has also obtained several certifications, including being a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2011 and a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the same institute in 2019. Gopinath also completed the Managing Successful Practitioner Program from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015.
