Matias Forbord

Matias Forbord has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matias started their career in 2009 as a Programmer at Funcom Oslo / Funcom Games Canada Inc. Matias then worked as a Developer at Shortcut AS from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they had roles as a Contract iOS Developer at Centerpoint and as a Lead mobile developer and later as the Chief Technical Officer at Cipio. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Technical project lead at Yenka AS, where they developed and managed hybrid web app projects. In 2016, they joined Skillshare.com as a DevOps Engineer, contributing to scaling the global learning platform. Matias then worked at Bounties Network as a Senior Full Stack Engineer from 2018 to 2019. At CodeCombat, they served as a Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2021. During this time, they led various projects and contributed across the stack. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Senior Fullstack Developer at Scrimba, where they built interactive code learning technology. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Engineering at DigiFarm, where they lead the engineering team in using satellite imaging to empower farmers and reduce their carbon footprint.

From 2006 to 2009, Matias Forbord attended The Norwegian School of Information Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Matias focused on Information Technology Systems during their studies.
