Dr. Wendy Hume Hayes

Dr. Wendy Hume Hayes has an extensive work experience that spans over two decades. Dr. Wendy is currently the Director of Homeland Security Programs at Camelot Secure, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DigiFlight, Inc. as the Director of Homeland Security Programs starting from August 2022. Additionally, at DigiFlight, Inc., they also held the role of Hunt & Incident Response Team (HIRT) Program Manager / CMMC Project Manager since March 2020.

Before joining DigiFlight, Inc., Dr. Hume Hayes worked at the College of Southern Maryland as a Professor from August 2002 until March 2020. Dr. Wendy'srole at the college demonstrates their extensive experience in the field of education.

Dr. Wendy Hume Hayes has an extensive educational background in various fields. Dr. Wendy obtained their Doctor of Science (D.Sc) degree in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University in 2022. Prior to this, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, from 1993 to 1995. Furthermore, Dr. Hayes obtained a Bachelor's degree in English and Business Management from the same institution, Chadron State College, from 1987 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Hayes has also acquired numerous certifications to further enhance their expertise. Dr. Wendy obtained a certificate from ATT&CK IQ in September 2022.
