Nick Anthony

Senior Software Engineer at DigiLens

Nick Anthony has held various roles in the software engineering field since 2012. Nick began as a Research Assistant for the Low-Cost Spatial Light Modulator in 2012, followed by a role as a Youth Conservation Corps Leader for the US Forest Service in 2013. That same year, they held a role as a Leaf-Cutter Ant Mandible Measurement for the University of Oregon. In 2014, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the same university. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Device Systems Engineer and Research Associate Co-Op at Brewer Science. In 2018, they were a Research Engineer at Northwestern University, and from 2019 to 2022, they were a Freelance Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at DigiLens Inc.

Nick Anthony obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from the University of Oregon in 2013, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Physics-Optics from the same university in 2015. In 2009-2010, they studied Spanish at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Additionally, they have obtained eight course certificates from Coursera in the fields of Machine Learning, Regression Models, Statistical Inference, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, between 2017 and 2018.
