Tacettin Sazci

Tacettin Sazci has a diverse work experience in various product management and leadership roles. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Product Strategist at Frumatic and later joined Arçelik Global as an R&D Project Leader and Senior Engineer. In these roles, they coordinated and oversaw multiple product lines and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to plan, develop, manufacture, and source consumer products.

In 2015, Tacettin co-founded Starelya 3D, where they launched a successful portfolio of 3D printed collectible figurines and led various aspects of the business, including strategy, pricing, ROI analysis, and product implementation. Tacettin also played a key role in driving the R&D of 3D HD scanning systems for AR and VR applications.

In 2017, Tacettin co-founded Fathhome, a company focused on developing alternative smart home solutions. During their time there, they led research efforts, organized app development and mechanical engineering, and conducted customer research to identify satisfaction parameters.

Tacettin then worked at fuseproject as a Senior Program Manager, where they headed a large-scale mobile consumer electronics platform and ensured the successful delivery of a project worth $2 billion. Tacettin led cross-functional teams, established organizational alignment, and facilitated communication between various departments.

Tacettin also worked at Pick 'n' Watch as a Senior Product Manager, where they implemented interactive solutions to enhance in-store shopper engagement and conversion rates. Tacettin conducted extensive user research and introduced user-centric hardware products.

At Nortek Control, Tacettin served as a Product Line Manager, overseeing the transformation of three power management brands. Tacettin drove the development of innovative energy-efficient home systems and differentiated the Furman brand in the pro audio and commercial spaces.

Prior to their current role as the Director of Product Development at Digilock, Tacettin worked at Phoenix Technologies as a Product Manager. Tacettin led cross-functional teams, defined product vision and success metrics, and conducted industry expert interviews to drive the development of new embedded and autonomous vehicle firmware roadmaps.

Throughout their career, Tacettin has demonstrated expertise in product management, strategic planning, team leadership, and driving innovation.

Tacettin Sazci has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology. Before that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Design at Yeditepe University. Tacettin also attended Galatasaray Lisesi, where they obtained a General French Baccalaureate. In terms of additional certifications, Tacettin has completed courses such as Market Oriented Product Development from 4Biz - Ideas for Business ; Strategy & Marketing & Technology in 2018, Methodologies and Applications of Project Management from İstanbul Kurumsal Gelişim in 2016, Time & Priority Management from Arcelik Group in 2015, Negotiation Techniques from Arcelik Group in 2014, PMP Certification Courses from İstanbul Kurumsal Gelişim in 2014, Plastic Part Design, Production & Molding Techniques from Arcelik Group in 2014, Plastic Injection Technologies from Arcelik Group in 2013, and Conflict Management from TU Delft.
