Carl Pulley

Carl Pulley is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer at Digital Asset since June 2022, focusing on privacy engineering of the DAML language/compiler using Scala and Haskell. Previously, Carl served as Principal Software Engineer at Oodle Car Finance and Disney Streaming Services, where responsibilities included developing reactive, distributed applications and leading agile teams in high-latency environments. Carl's earlier experiences encompass roles as Senior Lead Software Engineer at Cake Solutions Ltd, Research Assistant and Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, and various positions in academic and commercial research, including a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick. With a strong academic background, Carl holds a PhD in Mathematical Logic and a Master's degree in Logic and Computation from The University of Manchester, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham.
