Fil MacKay

Fil Mackay is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development within the financial sector. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Digital Asset in A/NZ since October 2016, Fil oversees teams focused on distributed systems and has successfully led initiatives for clearing and settlement platforms. Previous positions include significant roles at Vertigo Technology as a Software Architect, where Fil consulted for investment firms and developed various trading and data analysis tools, and at Barclays Investment Bank, contributing to a DevOps analytics platform. With a background in software development dating back to the 1980s and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney, Fil combines deep technical expertise with a strong ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs.
