Jin Xie

Jin Xie has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. Jin started their career at Pico International as a Scenic/Texture Artist in 2004. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Animator at Nitrogen Studios Canada Inc. Jin then joined Bardel Entertainment in 2010 and 2012, working as an Animator in both periods. In 2014, they joined MPC as an Animator, and later moved to Method Studios in 2015 for the same role. Jin then worked at Rodeo FX as an Animator for a brief period in 2016 before joining Zoic Studios as a 3D Animator. Jin continued to progress in their career and worked at Industrial Light & Magic as an Animator from 2017 to 2018. Their most recent work experience is with Digital Domain, where they started as an Animator in 2018 and currently holds the position of Lead Animator since March 2021. Overall, Jin Xie has gained extensive experience in the animation industry and has held various roles throughout their professional journey.

Jin Xie has a diverse education history in the field of animation and visual effects. In 2007, they attended Vancouver Film School and earned a Diploma in 3D Animation & Visual Effects. Following this, in 2011, Jin Xie enrolled in Animation Mentor where they focused on Animals & Creatures. In 2013, they attended ianimate where they participated in workshops on feature animation and rigging.
