Shane McGrath

Shane McGrath has a long history of work experience in the entertainment industry. In 2020, they founded SafeGvard. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at Digital Innovations Ireland, first as a Project Manager and then as Founder. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Limelight Entertainment and Concerts Group Limited. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Head of Entertainment and Events at The Mansfield Group and Citywest Hotel, where they were responsible for turnkey sourcing, promoting, selling and management of live concerts and stage shows, as well as contract management and theatre design. Finally, from 1999 to 2006, they were the Front-Man and Proprietor of Harlequin Live Band, which they founded and has since become the most in-demand live act-for-hire in Ireland.

Shane McGrath holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Product Design from the Royal College of Art, as well as a Batchelors Degree in Product Design from the Institute of Technology, Carlow.
