Yoon Ha Choi

Yoon Ha Choi, PhD, currently serves as a Postsecondary Senior Researcher at Digital Promise since June 2023. Previously, Yoon was a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at Florida International University from August 2021 to June 2023, affiliated with the Department of Biological Sciences and the STEM Transformation Institute. Academic experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher and Graduate Instructor at Oregon State University from September 2016 to June 2021, contributing to several NSF grant-funded projects and teaching an undergraduate course in learning across the lifespan. Additional professional experience includes positions such as Research & Assessment Analyst at Santa Barbara City College, Director of Research Partnerships at Teach For America, and Graduate Summer Fellow at Education Pioneers. Yoon Ha Choi holds a PhD in Science Education from Oregon State University, an M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
