Susmita Sharma

Susmita Sharma currently serves as the General Secretary at Digital Rights Nepal, a position held since February 2025. Prior to this role, Susmita held various significant positions in the Nepal Renewable Energy Programme at DAI NREP from March 2019 to March 2025, including Cross-Cutting Component Lead and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. Additional experience includes serving as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Manager at Catholic Relief Services and as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management Officer at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp. Susmita's career began as a Planning Monitoring & Evaluation Officer at INSEC Nepal and included earlier roles such as Publication & Documentation Officer at The HAK Association. Educational credentials consist of a Bachelor of Laws from Nepal Law Campus, a Master of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Trichandra Multiple Campus, and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Tribhuwan Central Campus.
