Matthew Barnes

Matthew Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Matthew began their career as a Network/System Administrator at Great Lakes Airlines and then transitioned to a Developer/Database Administrator role at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a DevSecOps Engineer at Open Technology Solutions, LLC. Following that, they joined CloudFit Software as a Principal Service Engineer, where they stayed until February 2023. In September 2021, they also became a Security Researcher at Synack Red Team, a private bug bounty program. Currently, they are working as a Security Consultant at Digital Silence, starting from March 2023.

Matthew Barnes has an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from DeVry University - Westminster. Matthew also studied Computer Science at Laramie County Community College. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in November 2012. Matthew received the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in August 2005 and the CompTIA Security+ certification in August 2022. Additionally, they completed the Red Teaming Learning Path from TryHackMe in September 2022 and the Pro Labs: Dante from Hack The Box in June 2021.
