Umarani P.

Umarani P. has a comprehensive work experience in the field of mobile application development. Umarani started their career as a Mobile Application Developer at HCL Technologies, where they focused on UI development, webservice integration, and testing. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Android Application Developer at Jingit, where they developed applications for Android phones. Umarani then joined Municipal Parking Services in 2014 and held the role of Mobile Application Developer. During their time there, they designed, developed, and released native applications for iOS and Android platforms, primarily focusing on payment solutions for smart parking meters. Umarani also designed and developed an Android tablet application for Parking Enforcement Officers to issue parking tickets. Umarani was promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Municipal Parking Services and continued working on the development and release of applications, as well as collaborating with the product development team to plan new features. Most recently, they joined Digital Turbine in 2019 as a Senior Android Developer. Their responsibilities include developing, maintaining, updating, and releasing improvements and bug fixes for the in-house system app. Umarani also develops and maintains SDK for the AIDL interface, provides knowledge transfer to junior developers, and conducts design and code reviews. Umarani P. completed their Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching at Don Bosco Matriculation in Tamil Nadu, India from 2000 to 2004. Umarani then attended SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary school from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Science and Maths and earned their High School degree. Continuing their education, Umarani enrolled in Veltech University from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science.
