Curzon Thompson

Curzon Thompson has worked in the broadcast industry for over 25 years. In 1991, they began their career as a Senior Teleport Radio Frequency Engineer at PanAmSat. Curzon then moved to Discovery Communications in 2005 as a Radio Frequency Engineer. In 2008, they worked as a Manager Engineering Services at Screen Service America LLC and as a Design Engineer Autocad at HBO. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Special Projects Engineer at MTN Satellite Communications and as a Radio Frequency Engineer at Digital Video Systems. In 2016, they worked as a Distribution Engineer at ION Media Networks, and since 2017 they have been a Senior Project Manager at Digital Video Systems, leading system design and installations for projects in Broadband Communications, Systems Integration and Antenna Services.

Curzon Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University between 1981 and 1984. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate of Science in Engineering from the University of The Bahamas between 1979 and 1981. Curzon also obtained a Project Management certification from Florida International University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Comptia, Microsoft, Cisco, and CPI.
