Beryl Sawyerr

Beryl Sawyerr is currently a Venture Fellow Leader at DigitalDx Ventures, a majority woman-owned impact fund investing in early-stage health technology companies. Prior to this, Beryl worked as a Pro Bono Consultant at Johns Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club, and as a Doctor at NHS. Beryl also held roles at Gender Equity Initiative in Global Surgery and InciSioN, focusing on gender disparities in surgery and promoting access to safe surgery. Beryl holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, a MBChB in Medicine and Surgery from University of Birmingham, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Tema International School.
