Senior Technical Artist at DigitalFish

Matthew Bain has a diverse work experience in the field of technical art and visualization. Matthew is currently working as a Senior Technical Artist at DigitalFish since September 2020. Prior to that, Matthew founded Live Music Visuals in 2011, where they served as the Founder, Creative Director, and Visualization Artist. At Live Music Visuals, they collaborated with various professionals in the entertainment industry to create 3D visualizations that complemented musical productions.

Matthew also worked at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where they held the position of Lead 3D Visualization Artist from August 2017 to September 2020, and before that, they worked as a 3D Visualization Artist from January 2016 to August 2017. Matthew also worked as a 3D Artist Consultant at River Studios from June 2015 to December 2015.

In the animation industry, Matthew gained experience at DreamWorks Animation. Matthew worked as a Lead Final Layout Artist from August 2013 to December 2014 and as a Final Layout Artist from July 2008 to August 2013.

During their academic career, Matthew served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University. Matthew held this position from September 2007 to June 2008. Matthew also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the same university from January 2007 to June 2007 and from September 2006 to January 2007. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Technical Artist at Electronic Arts from June 2007 to August 2007.

Matthew Bain completed their high school education from 1996 to 2000. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Computer Graphics and Music Design from The Ohio State University, from 2000 to 2004. Following this, Matthew went on to obtain a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Computer Animation and Music Visualization from the same institution, completing their education from 2005 to 2008.
