Greg Vargas, SPHR has extensive experience in talent acquisition, talent management, and human resources. Greg currently holds the position of Vice President, Talent + Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Intersectionality (DEII) at Diligent Corporation, where they empower users and board members with a comprehensive view of their organization's governance and risk practices. Prior to their current role, they served as the Head of Talent Acquisition at Harry's, Inc. and the Global Lead for Employee Movement, Succession Planning, and Talent Assessment at Verizon Media. Greg has also held various leadership positions at Yahoo, Google, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where they played a crucial role in talent acquisition and development. Additionally, Greg has experience as a human resources consultant, providing strategic consulting services to companies in various industries. Greg is skilled in full-cycle recruiting, developing hiring campaigns, and conducting interviews and salary negotiations. Greg's expertise in talent management and human resources spans over 25 years, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Greg Vargas, SPHR, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from The George Washington University in the period between 1987 and 1991. Greg also pursued graduate work in Human Resources Management during this time. Greg Vargas holds additional certifications, including Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute, obtained in 2010. Greg is also certified in Inclusive Leadership and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, both obtained through LinkedIn.
