Julie Young

Julie Young has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julie started their career as an Electrical Engineering Student at Conservation Corps Newfoundland And Labrador, where they coordinated shoreline cleanup events and improved data inventory sheets for the clean-ups.

Julie then worked as a Growth Developer at HelpMeOrder, followed by a role as a Regional Operations Workterm Student at Newfoundland Power, where they created a fuse coordination spreadsheet and updated peak load values.

Julie also gained experience as a Tutor at Cahill Engineering One Help Centre and as a Rural Planning Electrical Engineering Student at Newfoundland & Labrador Hydro.

Julie'smost recent experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer in Training at Dillon Consulting Limited and as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Stantec, where they gained experience in designing electrical systems for commercial buildings, developing technical reports, creating commissioning plans, and conducting feasibility studies.

Julie Young attended Bay d'Espoir Academy from 2003 to 2016, where they completed their high school education. Following that, they enrolled in Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2016 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2021.
