Simi Asher

Simi Asher has work experience as a Robotics Engineer at DIMAAG, a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, a Robotics Engineer at National Robotics Engineering Center, and a Robotics Software Engineer at MoonRanger and Rapyuta Robotics. They also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the System Engineering Lab and a Research Intern at the Intelligent Robots and Vision Systems Lab, both at Kyushu University, and as an Intern at Yaskawa Electric Corporation.

Simi Asher obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kyushu University in 2020. Afterward, they obtained various certifications from Coursera on topics such as facial expression recognition, Convolutional Neural Networks, introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning, and Robotics: Aerial Robotics in 2020. Simi also obtained JLPT N2 certification from JEES in 2018. Simi Asher is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Robotics Systems Development from Carnegie Mellon University, and they are expected to complete it by 2023.
