Maarten Tobias

Maarten Tobias has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maarten has held the position of CEO at Dimenco, where they were responsible for general management, international strategic partnerships, and technology license activities. Maarten successfully led a management buyout in 2019 and restructured the organization to optimize integration between Dimenco and KDX. Prior to this, Maarten was the Founder and CEO of Dimenco, where they focused on long-term technology licensing strategy and secured a strategic investment from Leyard Optoelectronics.

In addition to their role at Dimenco, Maarten also served as an Advisor/Investor at LightDrop.tech and as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Morphotonics B.V. Maarten gained experience at Philips as a Senior Strategy Manager BU TV, driving the global strategy review process and facilitating decision-making processes. Maarten also worked at Philips 3D Solutions as a Senior Global Business Development & Sales Manager, responsible for worldwide account management, channel management, and business development. Before that, they held the position of Key-Account Manager at Philips Consumer Electronics B2B, where they were responsible for narrow casting, AV-channel, and large retail accounts.

Earlier in their career, Maarten worked at Getronics J.D. Edwards Business Solutions as a Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing and communication activities. Maarten also analyzed sales potential within the professional service sector for J.D. Edwards software during their traineeship at the company. Maarten began their professional journey at UPC, where they conducted market analysis and business modeling for new retail locations in the Netherlands during their traineeship.
