Shaun Smith

Shaun Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Shaun currently works at Dimension Data as an Information Security Manager Lead since 2023. In this role, they ensure the delivery of information security aligns with the organization's goals and meets client requirements. Previously, Shaun served as an Information Security Manager at Dimension Data from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining Dimension Data, Shaun held various positions at Automated Outsourcing Services. Shaun served as the Head of Information Technology from 2009 to 2020, where they managed the IT division and coordinated team tasks and projects. Shaun also worked as an Infrastructure Team Leader from 2007 to 2009, responsible for IT team coordination and ensuring effective service delivery. Additionally, they served as a Senior Security/Systems Administrator from 2007 to 2007, managing firewall administration, server support, and network infrastructure.

Prior to that, Shaun worked at Fidentia as a Senior Security/Systems Administrator in 2006, handling firewall administration and server support.

Shaun's career began at Automated Outsourcing Services (m Cubed Holdings) in 2003. Shaun started as an IT Support engineer and later became a Network Administrator/Unix Administrator responsible for network administration, Linux administration, and various system support tasks.
