Joy Lopez

Joy Lopez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in tax management and investment strategies. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Investment Tax at Dimensional Fund Advisors since February 2013, Joy has also held the position of Vice President-Senior Tax Manager. In addition to this role, Joy is the Chair of the Tax Committee at the Investment Company Institute and contributes to the National Domestic Violence Hotline as an Executive Board Member and Treasurer. Joy's prior roles include Vice President-Tax Manager at PIMCO and Senior Accountant at The Options Clearing Corporation, among others. Joy holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University, earned between 1990 and 1995.
