Sarah E. Cannon-Foster has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several companies and industries.

Starting in 1998, they worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. where they held various roles, including Regional Director of Human Resources and Partner for Social Responsibility, overseeing initiatives such as volunteerism efforts and educational programs on human trafficking. Sarah E. remained with the company until 2016.

In 2016, Sarah joined Walgreens, where they took on the role of Interim Chief Human Resource Officer/HR Leader at AllianceRx Walgreens Prime, a joint venture that created the third-largest U.S. specialty pharmacy. Sarah E. also served as Corporate Divisional Vice President, overseeing HR corporate-enabling functions and supporting key acquisitions and integration efforts.

In 2019, Sarah transitioned to a role at Walgreens Boots Alliance as Vice President, Human Resources, Global Business Transformation, where they played a vital role in achieving annual cost savings by the end of fiscal year 2021 and providing thought leadership for HR-related strategies and change initiatives. Sarah E. later moved on to become Vice President, Human Resources, U.S. Healthcare, leading HR support for WBA's U.S. Healthcare division.

Most recently, in 2023, Sarah joined Dine Brands Global as Chief People Officer.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in talent management, acquisition, culture, brand ambassadorship, and employee experience programs. Sarah E. has also shown exceptional leadership skills in driving collaboration and providing strategic guidance.

Sarah E. Cannon-Foster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from Penn State University.
