Emily Booker

Emily Booker possesses extensive experience in digital media and communications, currently serving as a Digital Media Producer and Communications Specialist at the Diocese of Knoxville since August 2015. Previously, Emily contributed as a Graduate Assistant at the Center for Appalachian Studies and Services from August 2013 to May 2015 and worked as an Administrative Assistant at Appalachian Forest Products from 2011 to 2012. Early in their career, Emily held editorial roles, including Editor-in-Chief at The Eagle and Editorial Editor at The Oracle during 2009-2010. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from East Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Tennessee Technological University.
