Anna Bamonte Torrance

Anna Bamonte Torrance currently serves as Chancellor for the Diocese of Pittsburgh since December 2022 and has held multiple roles within the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, including Secretary for External Affairs and Associate General Secretary since May 2015. With a legal career spanning several decades, Anna Bamonte Torrance practiced as an attorney at Houston Harbaugh from 1997 to 2015, focusing on health care law and litigation, where representation included professional licensure, medical staff issues, and malpractice defense. Prior experience includes serving as an attorney at Grogan Graffam P.C. from 1988 to 1997, specializing in medical malpractice defense litigation. Anna Bamonte Torrance obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Boston College.
