Joanne Marie Del Rosario is a Preclinical Development Scientist at DIOSynVax. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Virology and Vaccinology at the University of Kent from August 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they worked as a PhD Researcher at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency from September 2016 to August 2020, where they designed, developed and optimized protocols in molecular biology, immunology, virus/vector production and mouse challenge models. Joanne also collaborated with UCL and the Biological Services Division (BSD) at NIBSC for their PhD project. From September 2016 to August 2020, they were also a PhD Researcher in Infection and Immunity at UCL, where they specialized in molecular cloning, protein expression in mammalian cells, protein/antibody purification, in vitro cell-based assays, production of live influenza virus, lentiviral-based pseudotypes, and AAV cell factories in mammalian cells, viral titration, neutralization, HAI and mouse challenge models for in vivo testing of immunotherapeutics. Joanne also collaborated and trained with multiple departments and disciplines such as the Influenza Resource Centre (UK), Virology, Advanced Therapies, Biotherapeutics and Biological Services Division at National Institute of Biostandards and Control (NIBSC) and the Viral Pseudotype Unit, Medway School of Pharmacy, University of Kent. In addition, they participated
