Lars Carlsson

Head Of Business Development Automotive, Vice President at Dirac

Lars Carlsson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Lars started their career as a Test Engineer at Saab Automobile AB in 1986. Lars then worked at Ingemansson as a Technical Support Manager for LMS Solutions and later became the Manager of Automotive Acoustics & Vibration. Lars then joined Zound by Semcon as the Manager of Noise & Vibration. Lars also held various roles at Semcon, including Chief Engineer of Semcon Functional Performance and Technical Director of Semcon Automotive.

Following this, Lars worked at MTS Systems Corporation, where they served as the European Sales Manager, Services, before being promoted to Global Director of Consulting and later as the European Integration Services Manager. Lars was responsible for managing the European MTS Specialists in Testing and Simulation and played a key role in business development, sales, and customer relations.

Most recently, Lars worked at Dirac as the General Manager before being promoted to the Head of Business Development Automotive, Vice President. In this role, they oversee the business development in the automotive sector. Overall, Lars has demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in various aspects of engineering, sales, business development, and management throughout their career.

Lars Carlsson completed their education in 1985 with a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Control Theory, from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
