Liza is the Director of Research Operations and has more than 20 years of industry experience in the field of neuroscience. Prior to joining Disarm, she held positions at FORUM Pharmaceuticals (formerly EnVivo) and Wyeth Research. Most recently she led an in vivo pharmacology group focused on psychiatric and neurological disorders. She led multiple drug discovery projects that delivered candidates which proceeded to clinical development. Liza is the author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and an inventor on numerous patents
Liza earned her Ph.D. in neuropsychology from the City University of New York and did her post-doctoral training at Rush-Presbyterian Medical Center, Center for Brain Repair.
