Lydia Bonakdarpour began their professional career in 2015 as a Research Intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2017, they became a Sales Associate & Marketing at Upper Concept Store, where they assisted clients in the boutique and gallery, helped plan and promote 3 events, and managed social media platforms. In 2018, they became a Growth Intern at Troops. In 2019, they worked as a Communications Intern (Summer 19' - Senior Fall) at Hunt & Gather. In 2020, they started at Kindred as an Intern and then moved to Disco, where they held the roles of Customer Success Manager and Operations Manager. In 2021, they became an Accidental Co-Founder at NYU Girls Roasting Tech Guys. At Disco, they scaled the client roster to 600+ paying brands while effectively presenting critical customer feedback for product improvement and roadmap recommendations.

Lydia Bonakdarpour attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols School before going on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Media, Culture, and Communications and Business Studies from New York University. Lydia then continued their piano studies at the New England Conservatory of Music from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they were enrolled in the Performance Studies Program (Piano) at the Longy School of Music from 2008 to 2014.
