UX Design Researcher at Discogs

Jessica Woods has over eight years of professional experience in UX/UI design and research. Jessica began their career in 2014 as a Web Designer at mowie media and a UX Designer at Wine and Food Travel. In 2015, they worked as a Lead UX Designer at UCLA and a UX/UI Designer at Charter Software. In 2016, they worked as a UX Designer at ADP and a Product Designer and Researcher (Freelance) at Jess Woods UX. In 2018, they worked as a UX Designer at Native Instruments and in 2019 they worked as a Product Design Lead at EY. Most recently, in 2021, they worked as a User Researcher at Mixcloud and is currently a UX Designer with a research focus at Discogs.

Jessica Woods attended Greenacre School for Girls and then obtained a BA (Hons) Popular and World Music Ind. from the University of Leeds in 2013, specializing in music psychology and ethnomusicology. In 2014, they obtained a Prince 2 Foundation 2009 certification from the APM Group. In 2016, they enrolled in ArtCenter College of Design to study Graphic Design, Interaction Design, and Illustration. Jessica also took a course in User Experience and Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Foundation and a course in Interaction Design from UC San Diego.
