Ben Pollan

Ben Pollan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in performance engineering and site reliability engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal SRE at Discover Financial Services since November 2022, Ben has held various leadership roles across prominent companies including PayPal and Xoom, where responsibilities included resiliency, cloud engineering, and management of performance engineering teams. Previously, Ben contributed to performance engineering at Electronic Arts and AMD, among others, and managed teams focused on optimization across multiple platforms. With a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, Ben combines technical expertise with a strong focus on team enablement and process improvement.
