Heidi Banfer is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing Consumer Banking at Discover Financial Services since April 2022. In this role, Heidi leads comprehensive marketing strategies for Discover's Student Loan business, focusing on performance marketing, content marketing, and website strategy across various segments. Prior to Discover, Heidi was the Head of Marketing for Student Loan Refinance at SoFi, where rapid marketing activations were implemented during challenging market conditions. Heidi's previous roles include Vice President of Marketing Acquisitions & Analytics at Sallie Mae, where a substantial marketing acquisitions budget was managed, and the First Vice President of Digital Acquisitions at JP Morgan Chase, where significant digital growth was achieved.
