Kathleen O'Brien

Kathleen O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the behavioral health field. Kathleen started their career in 2010 as a Behavior Intervention Coordinator at The Settlement Home for Children. In 2013, they joined Center For Discovery as a Counselor & Facility Manager and later took on roles as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Operations Resource Manager. In 2018, they transitioned to Discovery Behavioral Health through a merger with Center For Discovery, where they continued their work as an Operations Resource Manager and eventually became the Director of Talent Acquisition in May 2021. Kathleen's experience includes counseling, facility management, project management, and resource management.

Kathleen O'Brien attended Michigan State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a major in General Communication. In 2015, they obtained certifications as a CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) Instructor from Crisis Prevention Institute and as a CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor from the American Red Cross.
