Taron van der Berg

Taron van der Berg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They most recently worked at Lions Prep as a New Product Development Manager starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Dishpatch, including Product Development Manager, Senior Product Development Associate, and Product Development Associate. They also gained experience as a Junior New Product Development Technologist at Artisan Raw. Taron's previous experience includes working as a Retail Store Manager at Bordallo Pinheiro, an Au Pair at a Private Household, and a Private Tutor as a self-employed individual. They also completed an internship at NOMU and worked as a Receptionist at Broadacres Academy School. Their earliest experience involved working as a Waitress at HUDSONS - THE BURGER JOINT.

Taron van der Berg has a diverse education history. From 2016 to 2018, Taron attended the University of Cape Town and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Genetics. In 2020, Taron pursued an Honours degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from the same institution. Additionally, Taron obtained several certifications, including the "9 Weeks Baking Series Course - under the guidance of a qualified chef" from CHEFS TRAINING AND INNOVATION ACADEMY in November 2020, as well as the "SPSS Statistics Essential Training" and "SPSS for Academic Research" certifications from LinkedIn in August 2020. Currently, Taron is enrolled in a Master's degree program in Food Science at the University of Greenwich, set to be completed in 2023.
