Frank Lampen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Frank co-founded Independents United in 2006, where they helped businesses accelerate through strategy development, product development, and marketing. Frank also worked as an investor and advisor for Osper from 2013 onwards. In 2012, Lampen served as a non-executive director, adviser, and investor for DoingSomething Ltd, a leading dating website in the UK. Prior to that, they were an investor and mentor at Collider12 (Management) Ltd from 2012 to 2014. Lampen worked as an associate at CC-Lab Ltd from 2002 to 2006. Frank also founded their own company, Frank Lampen, in 2002, where they served as a director. Lampen's earlier experience includes working as Editor, Programme Strategy E4 at Channel 4 from 2000 to 2002, Schedule Manager UKTV at BBC Television from 1998 to 2000, and Broadcast Manager at Carlton Television from 1994 to 1998. Lampen's current role is Founder and Chair at Distill Ventures, where they have worked since 2013. Frank also held the positions of Partner and Chief Tasting Officer from 2013 and CEO from 2017 to 2023 at Distill Ventures.
Frank Lampen attended the University of Oxford from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Politics and Philosophy.
