Richard Mugford is an experienced community service leader with a strong background in housing and homelessness support. Currently serving as Senior Manager of the Community Information Exchange at Distress Centre Calgary, Richard previously held roles including Community Winter Response Coordinator at Calgary Homeless Foundation and Manager of Outreach and Community at McMan Calgary. Richard's expertise includes instructional design for the Canada FASD Research Network and overseeing transitional programs for Calgary Homeless Foundation. As Executive Director of the Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network, Richard successfully managed the agency during a critical period. Richard's extensive tenure at CUPS included significant program development and budget management, contributing to the successful housing of over 4,000 individuals. Educational credentials include studies at Ryerson University, Mount Royal University, and the University of Calgary.
