Nigel Mangwiro

Nigel Mangwiro is the CFO at Distributed Power Africa. Nigel has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Nigel started their career at Ernst & Young Zimbabwe where they worked in audit for 4 years. Nigel then moved to CAPS Holdings Ltd and became the FD for CAPS Manufacturing Private Ltd. After 3 years at CAPS, Nigel joined TA Holdings Ltd as the FD for Cresta Hospitality. Nigel then spent 2 years at African Sun Limited as the CFO before moving to Pulse Pharmaceuticals.

Nigel Mangwiro is a business strategist who has gone through extensive training to become a chartered accountant. Nigel started their education at Glen Norah High II before going on to Prince Edward School. Nigel then studied accounting at the University of Zimbabwe before completing their GCE Advanced Level in mathematics, accounting and geography. After working as an articled accountant assessor, they decided to further their education by completing an executive education program in corporate governance at the University of the Witwatersrand. Nigel also holds a B Acc Hons from the University of Zimbabwe. In addition to their work as a chartered accountant, Nigel Mangwiro has also completed a Master of Philosophy in Corporate Strategy from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). Nigel has also completed a professional training program in hotel real estate and asset management from Cornell University.

Their manager is Norman Moyo, CEO. They work with Mariam Limbada - Head, HR, Moncef Mettiji - Regional Head, East & West Africa, and Divyajeet Mahajan - Regional Head, Southern Africa.
