Gabriela Gómez

Gabriela Gómez has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Gabriela is currently employed at DSD Renewables as a Project Engineer since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Standard Solar where they held the positions of Senior Project Engineer from May 2022 to March 2023, and Solar Project Engineer from October 2018 to May 2022. In 2018, they also worked at Polaris Industries as an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer from February to August. Before that, they were a Master Thesis Intern at SEAC Solar Energy Application Centre from September 2016 to June 2017. Gabriela'searliest work experience was at Metalsa, where they started as an Automation Intern in February 2010 and later became a Preventive Maintenance Engineer from June 2011 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the preventive maintenance team, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, overseeing equipment installations, and managing technical staff.

Gabriela Gómez has a strong educational background in the field of sustainable energy technology. Gabriela completed their Master's degree in Science Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 2006 to 2011, specializing in Electronics and Automation Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Gabriela Gómez has also obtained a certification as a NABCEP Board Certified PV Installation Professional from the NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners in September 2021.
