Kai Takayama

Kai Takayama has a diverse work experience, starting with being a Library Page at Belmont Public Library from July 2016 to June 2019. In May to July 2020, Kai worked as a Painter at Student Painters. From April to July 2021, Kai was a 1Cademy Interdisciplinary Research Intern at the University of Michigan, where they collaborated in interdisciplinary research and utilized strong communication abilities. From June to August 2021, Kai served as a Food Server at Oakley Country Club, and from July 2021 to August 2022, they worked as a Student Ambassador at Guayaké Yerba Mate. From March to December 2022, Kai was a Business Development Intern at Sol Systems, where they supported project origination, researched potential opportunities, and performed financial modeling. Finally, starting in July 2023, Kai will be working as a Commercial Analyst at DSD Renewables.

Kai Takayama completed their high school education at Belmont High School from 2016 to 2019, earning a High School Diploma. They then attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2019 to 2020, studying Business and Management as well as Music, but did not complete a degree. Currently, Kai is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Boston University from 2020 to 2023.
