Simon Sutcliffe

Simon Sutcliffe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Simon started their career as an Application Analyst at ASDA in November 2009 before taking on a role as a Process & Business Analyst at UBS in December 2010. After a brief period of Travelling & Volunteer Work, Simon joined DLA Piper in October 2011 as a Business/Systems Analyst with Interim IT Project Manager responsibilities. In 2014, they transitioned to O2 as a Senior Business Analyst and later moved to RWE npower in 2015 as a Senior Business Analyst for the Smart Metering Program. Simon returned to O2 in 2018 as a Lead Business Analyst in the Transformation team. In 2020, they joined ESB as the Head End SME before moving to DIGITAL BAMBOO LIMITED in 2011 as a Director. Finally, Simon is currently employed at Distributed, where they hold the position of Product Owner and is scheduled to become the Lead Business Analyst starting in May 2023.

Simon Sutcliffe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Digital Product Technology from Leeds Beckett University, which they pursued from 2001 to 2004. Simon attended Tong 6th Form from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Communication & Media Studies, Art (Design), and English Language. Prior to that, Simon attended Tong Upper School in Bradford from 1992 to 1995, although their area of study during this period is unspecified. Simon also holds several additional certifications, including Lean Organisation Management Techniques (obtained in July 2015), Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner (obtained in November 2013 from APMG-International), Certificate in Business Analysis Practice (Practitioner) (obtained in June 2013 from BCS), and Certified Ethical Hacker (obtained in November 2011 from EC Council).
