Rocien Nkunga

Rocien Nkunga has a diverse work experience history. They began their career as a Music Producer at Winner Studio in 2011 and held this position until August 2012. In 2014, they transitioned into the field of IT, working as a Helpdesk Support & Network Engineer at AMS Bureautic until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an IT Technical Support & Network Engineer at Baremetal Computer Traders, a company specializing in wireless internet and managed IT services.

In 2017, Rocien joined Telasera Technologies as an IT System & Network Support Engineer, providing hosting, IT services, and ADSL internet services. They then moved to Frogfoot in the same year, initially working as a Network Support Engineer and later advancing to Senior Network Support Engineer. Frogfoot is an open-access fiber provider.

Most recently, Rocien has worked at Distributel as a Technical Support Engineer, a role they have held since October 2021. There are two separate periods of employment with Distributel, with the end date of the most recent role still unknown.

From 2021 to 2024, Rocien attended the Université de Moncton and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

From 2013 to 2015, Rocien pursued a Cisco Certified degree in IT Networking at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

In 2012 to 2013, Rocien received a Network Specialist Certificate in Information Technology N+ & A+ from IT Business Campus.

Between 2011 and 2012, Rocien obtained a Certificate in IT Hardware and Software maintenance from INPP.

Lastly, from 2010 to 2011, Rocien attended the INA National Institute of Art and studied Piano Instrument, focusing on Music Theory and Composition.

In addition to these academic qualifications, Rocien has obtained several certifications. These include React Basics, HTML and CSS in depth, META-Programming with JavaScript, and Front-End Development, which were acquired through Coursera Course Certificates. Rocien also holds a certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco, obtained in July 2015.
